Christmas?  Really?  Already?

Don’t worry.  Time hasn’t lapsed.  It’s still only October 3, which for my Christmas plans is very good news.  I love making gifts, cards, and goodies myself – which means I also love giving super personal gifts.

There’s also that certain glow when you give someone an amazing handmade gift – it’s like you give them an extra little piece of love with the gift, but I know this isn’t for everyone.  We don’t all have that certain “eye”, and that is absolutely okay. My hubby would tell you that he’s not at all crafty like me.  On our wedding day, the boy brought tears to my eyes and completely melted my heart with this card that he modified to make perfect for us.  (Love him! and the card. 🙂 )

As for me, I love the planning and dreaming that comes along with handmade gifts.  So I’m making my list and checking it twice.  Scarves, baked goods, photos w specialized framing, beaded gifts, handmade cards, and paintings are included in my dreams.  As you can tell, I do need to start on my projects now.

There are only 82 days until Christmas!

I’m excited to get my projects all planned out and on schedule!  It’ll be wonderful to get them all done by early December so that I can get them wrapped and have time to relax and enjoy all of the wonderful aspects of the Christmas season!  I’m dreaming of kicking back on the couch with my love and a hot cup of cocoa watching some of our favorite Christmas flicks!
